Testimony Sharing from John Krause
Let me introduce myself. I am John Krause. I come to you from Trinity UMC. My wife is Patti. My son, Michael, and family live in Marlton. My daughter, Megan (Scherbekow), and family live in Millville.
I was born into Trinity UMC. My parents raised my brother, two sisters and myself in the church. They showed us how to serve the church and community. This was the only ancestral family I knew growing up in Millville. My mother’s family was in Massachusetts. We visited them only on a few occasions over the years. So, Trinity acted as our extended family here.
Trinity reinforced our parent’s teachings. They shared things with us biblically and family wise that helped us to grow. Through Sunday School, MYF and choir, we learned about our faith in teaching and the singing of His praises. We saw individuals give of their time to teach and direct us in these endeavors. If you were ever in need, someone was there to provide a helping hand or lend an ear.
I could go on. I didn’t have that one Aha, heart-warming moment. But I found His love through the relationships and experiences shared by others at Trinity.
Again, I hope I can continue to share that love through my talents, experiences and faith in Him with others.
